Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State and the state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aishatu Ahmed Binani have expressed satisfaction with the use of the newly introduced Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The three strategic individuals told newsmen after casting their votes at their respective polling units around the state on Saturday that application of the BVAS has simplified the voting process considerably.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who voted at Government Day Secondary School kirchinga, Madagali LGA, said that the BVAS has made the process of accreditation and voting easier than at any round of elections in the past.
Senator Aishatu Binani who voted at her base in Yola South LGA also spoke of completing her voting within two minutes.
Boss Mustapha who voted at his Gwadamawa Ward 022 in Yola North LGA, said it took him under two minutes to finish casting his vote.
