Dozens of Tunisian journalists and rights activists demonstrated on the streets of the capital, Tunis, to denounce what they termed “state repression” and an attempt to intimidate the media.
The protest, organised by a journalists’ union, came three days after police arrested the director of a popular private radio station, Mosaïque FM which has been a main critic of President Kais Saied administration.
Reacting to the protest, President Kais Saied rejected all the allegations.
