Chinese tennis star Wu Yibing edged out local veteran Isner 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 at the final of the Dallas Open on Sunday, becoming the first Chinese player to reach and win an ATP final.
The 23-year-old’s stock has been on the rise throughout the tournament, having already upset third seed and world number 7, Denis Shapovalov, and Holger Rune, the top seed in Dallas and world number 9, on his way to the final.
