Insecurity: Gani Adams Urges S/West Govs. To Improve Performance Of ‘Amotekun’

In order to end insecurity in the southwest, the Aare Ona kakanfo of Yoruba Land, Gani Adams has admonished the governors to improve the performance of the regional security Network, otherwise known as “Amotekun” in their respective states.

The Opc national coordinator who said this during the oodua festival in Ife, noted that the festival is a way of sustaining the cultural identity of the Yoruba race and assured that no efforts will be spared at restoring the heritage of the Race.

He urged government and other critical stakeholders to give more attention on tourism as a way of improving economy of the country.

In his message, Oba Ogunwusi said the Yoruba race is the largest one in the world, noting that traditional institutions are ready to give maximum support to uplift the Yoruba heritage.
