In a disclosure to correspondents in Abuja, Adeyemi said seven days is too long for the president to deal with the currency crisis.
According to the lawmaker, Nigerians, especially the poor were now cursing the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emiefele, over the current hardship faced.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on Friday, after a meeting with governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) asked Nigerians for seven days to address the currency crisis. He said the redesign was aimed at giving a boost to the economy and provide long-term benefits. President Buhari however expressed doubts about commitment of banks to the success of the policy.
