The independent national electoral commission, INEC has extended the timeframe for the collection of voter’s card by one week.
The initial closing date was slated for 22nd of January at but has now been extended to 29th of January.
At a regular meeting, the commission said PVC COLLECTION at the ward level is also extended by a week also from January 16th to 23rd
The commission expressed satisfaction in the enthusiasm of voters to pick up their PVCs at the designated centres, promising to investigate allegations of extortion by some inec officials before releasing the voter’s card to the owners.
