The people of Bende in Abia State, South east Nigeria have decried the lack of infrastructural development in their area despite of its proximity to Umuahia, the state capital.
The President General of Bende town union development, Peter Ndukwe said the area remains underdeveloped because successive governments have neglected the despite the contribution of the people towards the development of the state capital.
