The Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS, in Adamawa State has vowed to flush out criminals hiding in forest reserves across the country.
The Commandant, Directorate of Hunting and Forestry of the Nigerian Hunter and Forest Security Service Aisha Bakari Gombi, said, they were not in a competition with other agencies but were out to complement their jobs of securing the forests.
She assured of providing intelligence to support ongoing efforts to rid the state of banditry.
For his part the lamido of Adamawa expressed confidence in the hunters especially in food production and security.
The NHFSS appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to assent to Bill establishing the security outfit
