Elders in Bodo community Gokana local government area of rivers state have staged a procession seeking the release of its sons arrested in connection with alleged oil theft.
The women and men in the community started the procession from an oil spilled site to the council headquarters, calling for the restoration of peace in the community.
According to them, the youths of the community conduct themselves with utmost respect but have been wrongfully accused by those who intend to cause harm. They prevailed on the government to intervene.
