The African National Congress (ANC’s) backing of President Cyril Ramaphosa in his farm scandal has sparked strong reactions in the parliament from both sides of the political spectrum.
The National Assembly, on Monday, delayed by a week a keenly watched parliamentary vote that could lead to the impeachment of Ramaphosa, as his party rallied around the embattled leader.
Top leaders of the ANC have vowed to stand by the president and oppose any motion seeking to remove him after their meeting.
