The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Sen Uba Sani is seeking for the creation of state police as the only solution to end insecurity bedeviling the country.
He claims that by establishing state police similar to those in the United States, state governors would be better equipped to meet the difficulties as the primary security authorities in their respective areas.
Also, the labour Party governorship candidate Jonathan Asake says security is the responsibility of the government stressing that if elected as governor the insecurity situation will be a thing of the past.
