The delta state government has reacted to the recent statement made by the federal government about governors
Using public funds for personal use.
The chief press secretary to delta state governor Dr ifeanyi Okowa, Mr Osila Ifeanjika , said the current leadership of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has no hand in embezzling public funds and that the governor and donated three hundred million naira to 25 LGA for salaries .
Ifeanjika made this statement while speaking to newsmen in government house in asaba the state capital.
Osila Ifeanjka further said , Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has given grants of 2.5 Billion naira to local governments in the state, and that the APC led government should give credits even as they have failed in other states.
Ifeanjika also faulted the leadership of the APC- led government for insecurity across the country, and high rise in level of poverty .
