After Germany’s elimination from the 2022 World Cup, Thomas Muller of Germany has suggested he may end his international career.

Recall that Germany defeated Costa Rica 4-2 on Thursday, but Spain’s shocking 2-1 loss to Japan sent the Die Mannschaft out of the tournament.

After the victory over Costa Rica, Muller, who participated in all three of Germany’s group-stage matches, including a 2-1 loss to Japan and a 1-1 draw with Spain, told reporters that it would be a great pleasure if this was his final match.

Müller was born in Weilheim, Oberbayern, Bavaria. He was raised in the nearby village of Pähl, which gained media attention as a result of his World Cup exploits. He has a brother named Simon who is two and a half years younger than him, and his parents are Klaudia and Gerhard.
