The speaker of Adamawa state House of Assembly Hon Aminu Iya Abbas has lost his Senatorial ticket for the state Central Senatorial Zone
The Federal High Court sitting in Yola, nullified
the ruling People’s Democratic Party PDP primaries which produced Hon Aminu Iya Abbas as the party, Central senatorial candidate.
The court reason that participation of Awwal Tukur in the primaries without resigning his appointment as special adviser to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, contravening the electoral law as well the nation constitution it therefore nullified the party primaries
