The 2022 batch ‘C’ stream I corps members of Lagos State showed off the rich cultural tribes of the nation at the cultural carnival organized for the batch at the NYSC Lagos Camp, Iyana-Ipaja.
The cultural carnival which was adorned by foods, dresses, languages and displays of the people of Nigeria, saw corps members of the batch relived the rich heritage of the nation.
State Coordinator, NYSC Lagos, Yetunde Baderinwa, says she is impressed by the cultural creativity and presentation of the corps members.
The event which is also a competition, crowned Platoon 1 as the winner, having replicated the renowned Calabar Carnival on camp through the presentation of Ekombi dance.
Platoon 6 and 3 came second and third positions respectively as they showcased the rich cultures of Oyo Alaafin and Fulani tribe.
