Meanwhile, The Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council, Kola Ologbondiyan, has opened up on the reconciliatory efforts made betwee the five aggrieved governors in the party and it’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Ologbodiyan said the G5 Governors led by the governor of rivers state, Nyeson Wike met with other members of the party in Lagos.
The quintet are unrelenting in their push for the resignation of the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, to pave the way for a southerner to take over as the party’s helmsman ahead of the 2023 elections.
Ologbondiyan said Atiku was ready to engage with the aggrieved governors, assuring that the disagreement would be over.
