Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev voiced their hopes and expectations on Friday (November 11) ahead of the ATP Finals in Turin.

The tournament, in its present format, usually sees the top eight ranked ATP players battle it out between themselves for the honour. This year world number one Carlos Alcaraz withdrew with a muscle tear.

Djokovic, ranked 8th (7th highest at the tournament) feels he’s coming into the tournament with the right form, though admitting his group has been a little tougher due to his relatively low rank.

The Serbian has been drawn alongside Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and the Russian duo of Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev in the Green Group.

The Red Group consists of world number two Rafael Nadal, who has yet to win the ATP Finals, playing Norwegian Casper Ruud, Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime and American Taylor Fritz – who faces Nadal on Sunday (November 13).
