The Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mustapha Habib Ahmed has taken delivery of relief food items donated by the United Arab Emirates to Nigeria following the recent flood disaster.
The NEMA DG appreciated the kind gesture of the Government and the people of the UAE, especially when efforts were being made by the Nigerian Government to support the populace in relief and recovery in communities ravaged by the flood.
The UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Fahad Al-Taffaq, who presented the items on behalf of the Government in Dubai, said the gesture to support victims of the flood disaster was in solidarity with Nigeria.
