The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji has presented a 2023 Proposed Appropriation Bill of one hundred and thirteen billion point six hundred million naira (N113.6 billion)to the State House of Assembly.
The Proposed Budget, tagged: “Budget of Strong Beginning” has a recurrent expenditure of eighty billon point thirty-six million (N80.36 billion) which takes about 70 per cent of the entire budget, while the capital expenditure stood at thirty-four point zero six billion naira, 30 per cent of the total proposed budget size.
Oyebanji reiterated that the infrastructure sector would receive much attention in the 2023 budget.
