The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State has accused the state governor, Dapo Abiodun for promoting the culture of Intolerance and intimidation of the opposition ahead of the 2023 Elections in the State. The party purportedly claimed that the governor cancelled the planned visit of the party’s governorship candidate Biyi Otegbeye,to the Council of Awori Obas which was scheduled today.
Addressing Newsmen at a Stakeholders meeting in Abeokuta, the party’s apex leader, IYABODE ANISULOWO, described the act as a sacrilege and a total desecration of the traditional institution.
Meanwhile, the party has vowed to resist any attempt by the governor to silence opposition parties in the state.
The government has denied the allegation, describing it as total falsehood.
