Ukrainian officials have said that Kyiv and several other regions across Ukraine have come under Russian attack again, as witnesses on the ground reported that plumes of smoke could be seen rising above the ground after a series of blasts in the capital.
The head of the regional administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, wrote on Telegram that in the southern city of Marhanets, Russian Grad missiles hit apartment buildings and a high school, killing a 31-year-old woman.
On his part, the governor of the Kyiv region, Oleksiy Kuleba, said the Ukrainian air defense was active in the capital while the central city of Vinnytsya was under rocket fire, according to regional Governor Serhiy Borzov.
