The seven days boycott is a form of an ultimatum to the government to adhere to their demands, which includes an end to the collection of levies at every bus-stops, and the creation of new bus stops to enable them to avoid arrest by Lagos State Traffic Management Authority task force (LASTMA).

Our correspondent who went around bus parks observed that other means of transportation such as motorcycles and tricycles have increased fares to over 150 percent.
