The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has said that it will appeal against a Yola Federal High Court’s judgement which barred it from fielding a governorship candidate for the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The party made its position known at a press conference in Yola, expressing confidence that it will not only reclaim its mandate but will win the governorship election in the state in 2023.
The party’s secretary, Raymond Chidama, called for calm from the party supporters, promising them that the party will not rest on its oars until justice is dissipated, and also urged all the stakeholders especially the aspirants to remain faithful and law-abiding as the party struggles to reclaim its mandate.
On his part, THE PARTY’S lawyer, Barrister Idris shaibu said that INEC must comply with the court’s directive.
