The Defence Headquarters says an air strike at Yadi in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State has killed terror kingpin, Ali Dogo and scores of his foot soldiers.
The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Dan/madami said the operation was carried out based on credible intelligence.
He said Ali Dogo and his fighters were said to have relocated to Kaduna State following continued bombardment on his location in Niger State.
Explaining further, he said, on the same day, following intelligence of some terrorist leaders and their foot soldier’s convergence under tree covers for a meeting in Mando, the Air Component also bombarded the location neutralizing scores of terrorist leaders and foot soldiers.
