Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said on Monday (October 10) a second referendum on independence will happen in October next year if Britain’s top court approves.
Britain’s Supreme Court on Tuesday (October 11) begins hearing arguments for allowing a secession vote without approval from British Prime Minister Liz Truss and her government.
Speaking from the Scottish National Party conference in Aberdeen, party leader Sturgeon said, ” If the court decides in the way we hope it does on 19th October next year, there will be an independence referendum.”
