Katsina: Police Rescue Nine Victims Of Human Trafficking

Officers of the Katsina State Police Command have rescued nine victims of human trafficking in Daura.

The victims, who were all female, were brought to the Command’s headquarters, Katsina, on Wednesday evening.

The Command’s spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, who confirmed the development, said the victims were rescued when the police team swooped on a grey area in the town, and that investigation had commenced on the case “with a view to arresting the fleeing suspect.”
