Two persons were burnt to death, three injured while 12 vehicles were also affected in an early Thursday morning tanker explosion at Ilo Awela axis, Sango Tollgate on the Lagos -Abeokuta expressway.
The Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC) in Ogun, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
She noted that the suspected cause of the multiple crashes was a mechanical deficiency and that while the tanker was ascending, the vehicle rolled back and got hooked, the content spilled off and there was a fire outbreak.
