As part of efforts to curb social vices amongst students, a community-based interest group in Ogun State has called for improved infrastructure and facilities in public primary and secondary schools across the state.
A member of the group, Olufemi Oluyemi who spoke during its annual educational outreach to selected public primary schools in Ijebu-Igbo, Ijebu North Local government area of the state, where uniforms and writing materials were provided to over fifty indigent pupils, called on government and critical stakeholders, to be passionate about rejuvenating the depraved standard, lessen the financial burden of parents, and also encourage the students to achieve academic excellence.
