A Governorship Aspirants in the recent APC primaries in Benue state Prof.Terhumba Shija has withdrawn his suit, challenging the party’s Primaries that saw Rev father Hyacinth Alia’s emergence.
Prof Shija who filed two cases before justice Abdu Dogo of the makurdi Division of Federal High Court
Through his lead Counsel Bar. JC Ikonni Brought a motion seeking the withdrawal of the second case which was challenged the Re- Run of the party Primaries.
According to prof Shija’s counsel the motion for the withdrawal was at the instance of his client
While Counsel to Father Alia Mathew Buka ,SAN , INEC KN Collins and that of APC did not opposed to the motion and was stroke it out by presiding judge justice Abdul Dogo without cost .
Speaking to journalist on the out come ,Counsel to Father Alia a Senior Advocate of Nigeria . Said Prof Terhemba Shija has filed his case out of time and has no backing to challenge the case before the court.
