The Lawmaker representing Gwer East/ Gwer West federal constituency Hon. Mark Gbilah has threatened to take legal action against the independent National Electoral Commission for gross negligence.
The Lawmaker observed that the electoral umpire while collating its final list of candidates contesting for various offices had erroneously recorded his name twice and against two different political parties, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and that of the Labour Party (LP) for the upcoming Senatorial seat in his constituency in Benue State.
The Lawmaker says he is taking legal action against INEC for refusing to act on his notification to the body informing it of his movement from the New Nigeria Peoples Party to the Labour Party.
