The closed-door meeting between the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria in Abuja has generated controversy in the social media space.
After the exclusive photos of the former governor of Lagos State’s meeting with northern clerics in his Abuja campaign office surfaced online, a cross-section of Nigerians reacted in a variety of ways and flooded the former governor’s social media sites.
The development comes just three months after the Christian Association of Nigeria distanced itself from the attendance of some purported bishops and pastors at the party’s vice presidential candidate Kashim Shettima’s unveiling, claiming they were desperate people who went there for themselves.
