According to a senior executive of KFC’s French operations, the fast food restaurant chain may file a lawsuit because forward Kylian Mbappe declined to participate in some of the French national team’s sponsorship obligations.

KFC France’s vice president, Alain Beral, revealed that the company was thinking about taking legal action, but he did not say whether it would be against the player or the French Football Federation.

Mbappe had declined to take part in a Tuesday team photo shoot and sponsor events because he did not want to promote some brands, such as fast food restaurants and betting companies, that have contracts with the national team.’
