The facade of a department store in western Mexico was severely damaged after a 7.6 magnitude earthquake rocked the country on Monday (September 19).

Eyewitness video showed that parts of the store’s exterior wall fell on vehicles parked outside, leaving at least three cars destroyed.

The Mexican government said a person had died in the Pacific port of Manzanillo after a wall collapsed in a store.

It was unclear whether the store was the same seen in the eyewitness video.
