Lecturers at the Imo State University, Owerri on Tuesday said that they had not pulled out of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
The chairman of ASUU in IMSU, Odinakachukwu Ejiogu said that they were still part of the ASUU’s nationwide strike.
Ejiogu, who was reacting to the announcement made by the Public Relations Officer of the varsity, Ralph Obinjoku, calling on lecturers and students to resume academic activities immediately, said that IMSU ASUU chapter was only answerable to the national body.
