P.D.P.: Party Appoints Aminu Tambuwal D.G. Of Presidential Campaign Organisation

Nigeria’s main opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has appointed the governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, as the director-general of the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation.

Other appointees into the body, chaired by the Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel, are governors Bala Mohammed of Bauchi and Seyi Makinde of Oyo state as vice chairmen for the northern and southern regions, respectively.

A statement signed by the party’s organizing secretary, Umar Mohammed Bature, stated that Tambuwal, as the D-G of the campaign, will be deputized by Senator Liyel Imoke, Prof Adewale Oladipo, Raymond Dokpesi, and Okwesilieze Nwodo to supervise operations, administration, technical and systems, and research and strategy, respectively.
