Buhari Confers Citizenship On 286 Americans, Britons, Others

President, Muhammadu Buhari, has conferred Nigerian citizenship rights to 286 persons comprising Lebanese, British, American, Egyptian, Syrian, Italian, and Palestinian nationals.

Of the 286 foreign nationals presented with certificates of Nigerian Citizenship, 208 received certificates for Naturalization, while 78 got certificates by Registration.

At the award event held at the State House, Abuja, the president enjoined the new citizens to be patriotic, now that they have pledged their allegiance to Nigeria.
