The All Progressives Congress (APC) In Rivers State, has declared That immediate-past minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, attracted no fewer than 18 federal government Projects and programmes to the State while serving as minister.
The Party in the state faults claims of Governor Nyesom Wike labelling his predecessor and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi a ‘total failure’ for perceived inability to attract development to Rivers in over seven years as a minister.
Addressing journalists in Port Harcourt , APC Acting state publicity secretary, Darlington Nwauju said the party leadership would not fold their hands and allow the Governor to denigrate their leader in perceived distortion of history.
He insisted that the former Minister attracted both Human capital development and infrastructural projects to the state
