Insecurity: Senate President Pledges Commitment To Curbing Menace

The president of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has commended the efforts of the ICPC for putting the National policy dialogue in place to further guide the country’s policy direction toward addressing the security challenges.

Lawan who declared the National dialogue on corruption and insecurity opened in the federal capital territory stated that it will summarily deal with the ugliness of insecurity in the country.

He said that the 9th Assembly, in collaboration with security and law enforcement agencies, passed three bills aimed at combating money laundering, terrorism financing, and the proceeds of crime.
