Plateau: Gunmen Attack Community, Injure Two

Unknown gunmen have attacked the Kunga community close to Yelwan Zangam in Plateau State injuring two people in the process.

It was learned that the gunmen attacked the community located along the Bauchi road in Jos metropolis around 12 am in the early hours of Sunday.

Plateau Police spokesman, DSP Alfred Alabo, who confirmed the incident said officers of the Nigerian Police Force prevented the gunmen from kidnapping residents, adding that calm has been restored to the the area.
