The Department of State Services (DSS) has explained why Tukur Mamu, publisher of Desert Herald, who has been involved in negotiations for the release of persons abducted during an attack on a train in Kaduna was arrested.
According to a statement by DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, the publisher, who is also a media consultant to the popular Islamic cleric, Ahmed Gumi, has questions to answer on security matters.
Afunanya in a statement promised that the law will appropriately take its course, as regards
the arrested self-acclaimed Kaduna Train hostage negotiator.
