Troops of the Nigerian Army have repelled an attack by bandits along the Kaduna-Zaria road in Igabi LGA of Kaduna state.
The State’s commissioner for internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement said that two suspected bandits were killed by the troops while others escaped with bullet wounds.
He said the troops while acting on credible intelligence, deployed officers to track the gunmen, and that patrols by troops will continue in the area.
