Rivers: Police Command Rescue 15 Abducted Children, Intercept 12 Bags Of Indian Hemp

The Rivers State Police Command has rescued fifteen children abducted from different parts of the state and kept in a suspected fake orphanage home.

Briefing newsmen at the Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt, the Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday said that the Operation restores peace personnel of the Command, acting on credible information regarding the hideout of child traffickers, stormed Omuigwe Abuja Phase II, Aluu, in Ikwerre Local Government Area, where a lady who claimed to be Rev. Sister Maureen Wechinwu aged 44yrs, was arrested.

CP Eboka who gave the details of the total arrest added that a red Mitsubishi bus with 12 bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, was intercepted and that the Rev sister was caught with different fake documents, which she uses to deceive people and security agencies.
