A Federal High Court, sitting in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, has nullified the recently conducted local government election in the state.
According to the court, the election, held on July the 30th, contradicted the provisions of the 2022 Electoral Act.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Rilman Fatun, ruled that the election was undemocratic, unlawful and shrouded in secrecy.
