In an effort to revive football in the Country, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare, has presented a 10-year master plan that will project the future of Nigeria football to align with Global Standard.
In his presentation of the report on Football 10-year master plan to the President Muhammadu Buhari, the minister thanked the President for the directives given to the ministry to set up a federal government committee to introduce a 10-year masterplan for football for the positioning of football in response to the yearning and desire of stakeholders in the face of new global realities.
In his address while receiving the report, President Muhammadu Buhari , said the federal government is interested in developing our football culture and to accommodate football’s principle that will help the nation to laid a solid foundation for our domestic football .
