Organ Harvesting: Ekweremadu To Remain In Custody As U.K. Court Adjourns Trial To October 31

The Central Criminal Court in the U.K. has adjourned the alleged organ harvesting case involving the Former Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu to October the 31st.

The former Deputy Senate President and his wife, Beatrice, allegedly brought a 21-year-old boy to London from the streets of Lagos in order to harvest his organ.

The duo, accused of plotting to traffic him to transplant his organ to their daughter who suffers from kidney failure, are currently facing charges bordering on conspiracy to arrange/facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation.
