The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has placed a N2 million bounty on the leader of Ebube Agu in Imo State, who it said led the killers of 14 Otulu and Awo-Mmamma youths, who were said to be returning from a traditional wedding of their friend last week.
The group in a statement signed by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said that government’s version of the story, that the victims were members of IPOB and Eastern Security Network (ESN), was false.
The group also dismissed a statement from an opposing group that Friday is sit-at home, saying there is no such thing.
