Yiaga Africa has threatened to expose the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC if the commission fails to announce an accurate result come July the 16th osun governorship election.
The Executive Director, Yiaga Africa, Samson Itodo while addressing a press conference on the pre-election observation in Osogbo, the state capital, appealed to the commission not to overestimate its capacity nor underestimate the potential challenges that could undermine the election.
He maintained that Yiaga Africa is set to deploy 500 stationary observers to about 250 polling units and 32 mobile observers located in all 30 LGAs of the state, while also deploying 30 collation centre observers to each of the LGA Collation Centers.
On his part, a board Member, Ezenwa Nwagwu, stated that INEC remains consistent in implementing the election preparatory activities, as observed in all 30 local government areas.
