Meanwhile Atiku Abubakar today met with governors of the PDP in Abuja.
This is coming shortly after the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the APC in the 2023 general elections.
The meeting at the Legacy House in Abuja was held behind closed doors.
It was the first time Abubakar would be meeting with the PDP Governors’ Forum after the party’s presidential primary.
Although details of the meeting are still unknown, it is speculated to be part of a series of moves by the party to mend fences with all aggrieved members of the party and also strategise ahead of the 2023 elections.
