The All Progressives Congress (APC), has debunked news making rounds as announced by the National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, that Ahmed Lawan has been ‘anointed’ consensus candidate of the party.
Shortly after the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, the Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, made the clarification while addressing journalists at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
He debunked the earlier claim by the National Chairman Abdulahi Adamu in his briefing to journalists that Ahmad Lawan is the anointed candidate of the party dismissing it as mere information that was not deliberated on by members of NWC.
