The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has assured residents of Ekiti state of its determination to conduct credible polls in Ekiti.
Chairman of the Commission, Prof Mahmoud Yaqoob during a meeting with traditional rulers in Ado Ekiti ahead of the June 18 Governorship election, said that the Commission will also conduct the botched Ekiti east constituency 1 state assembly Election on June the 18th.
He appealed to the traditional rulers to sensitize their subjects on the need for a Peaceful Election and commended the bimodal voters’ accreditation service during a mock test conducted on Monday.
